A mother was tucking her son into bed, stroking the hair on his little head, wondering what he’d grow up to be, praying he’d always stand up for Thee.
A father was kissing his daughter goodnight, telling her he'd love and protect her, no need for any fright.
The son was watching his mother die. No way in this world could he hold back his cry! She’d taught him to love God, to stand proud and to fight for what’s right. He would honor those morals with all of his might.
The daughter was listening, when in her father’s last words he said, “Fly like an angel. Don’t live like you’re dead.”
Our freedom is under attack. What shall we do? Stand up for God or lie down in Earth’s dew?
